How to contact us, what to do if an import fails and how to export or delete your recipes.

Updated on

Write to us at support@cucinario.app. We reply in Italian, Spanish, German, French and English, usually within two business days.

To help you faster, include in the message the link you were importing (if the problem concerns an import), the phone model and the app version.

An import failed

The most common causes, in order of frequency:

  1. The post is private. The app can only read public content. If the account is private there is no way to access it.
  2. There is no recipe in the video. If there are no ingredients or steps there is nothing to extract. In this case the import is not counted.
  3. The content was removed after you copied the link.
  4. The network dropped halfway. Try again: interrupted imports are not counted.

If the link is public, contains a recipe and still doesn't work, send it to us: it's useful to improve extraction.

The extracted recipe has errors

This can happen, especially when amounts are spoken aloud or shown only for an instant. You can edit any field directly in the recipe card.

If an error seems systematic — a unit of measure always wrong, for example — report it to us with the original link.

Exporting your recipes

You can export your library from the app settings. The export includes ingredients, amounts, steps and your notes. An active subscription is not required to export.

Deleting your data

From your account settings you can request deletion. Data are removed within 30 days. If you prefer, write to support@cucinario.app from the address associated with the account.

Subscription, renewals and refunds

The subscription is managed by the App Store or Google Play, so cancellations and refunds go through them:

  • iPhone and iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
  • Android: Google Play → profile menu → Payments and subscriptions.

If you have a billing issue that the platform does not resolve, write to us and we'll see what we can do.

Report a copyright issue

If you believe that content processed by the service infringes your right, write to support@cucinario.app indicating the content in question and the right you believe is infringed. We prioritize these reports.

We'll tell you

Cucinario isn't on the stores yet. Leave your email and we'll write on launch day — once.
